Silicon Spray

Silicone foams are the ideal separating agent for hot and cold molding. In this way, before molding, spray silicone spray on the surface of the mold to prevent the adhesion of the molding materials to the mold with the silicone film it creates, and therefore, they are good factors for increasing the life of your mold.

Silicone Rasis sprays are prepared in such a way that they do not cause any effect or corrosion on the mold, and also do not burn or carbonize. This product is completely odorless and speeds up the molding process with its rapid evaporation, and its temperature resistance is 288 degrees Celsius is reached.

The important factor of the low surface tension of Rasis silicone sprays, which is about 0.021n/m and even lower than the surface tension of organic solvents, makes them a very good competitor for their similar products, and finally, according to the FDA laws of Germany, there is no prohibition. Due to the contact of silicone used in Rasis spray with food and sanitary containers, there is no contact.

Features of Rasis silicone sprays (mold):

Getting to know the features of the mold spray will help you to choose the right spray for your needs. These sprays have different features that we will discuss in this part of the article.

The first feature of these sprays is their oily material, which must be taken into account when choosing a mold. Also, because of this oily substance, these sprays are also used as lubricants.

Another important feature of them is their high temperature tolerance. Normally, these sprays can withstand up to two hundred and ninety degrees Celsius and not disappear. This issue makes it possible to use these sprays in molding very hot materials.

Also, these sprays are flammable, and when using them, safety issues must be fully observed to prevent any fire accidents.

Indications :

As separating agent: is used in plastic injection moulds, extruders, casting industry, resin moulds for ABS, acrylics, waxes, rubber, polyester, cellulose, polystyrene, polyamide, PVC and packing industries.

As lubrication agent: Is used in plastic moving parts and fittings, films, rails, and signage, cutting tools, material injection and extrusion, model manufacturing, yarn and fabric industries.

As water removal and polishing agent: Is used for polishing the decorative surfaces such as dashboards and driver’s cabin, home appliances, glass, ceramic, laminates, insulators, rubbers and painted surfaces.

Silicone spray is used in many industries such as:
1- Plastic injection industry
2- resin industry
3- Metal industry
4- Food industry
5- Printing industry
6- Electronics industry
7- Automotive industry
8- Paper production industry
9- Leather industry
10- Concrete form making industry

instructions :

Shake the spray well and apply to the surface from 20-30 cm distance.

  1. Cleaning the surface: Before using the silicone spray or mold, make sure that the surface or mold is completely clean and dry. Be sure to remove any grease, dust or other particles from the surface.
  2. Mix: Silicone spray or mold may need to be mixed before use. Some sprays require shaking the contents to mix the ingredients well. Read the manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Test on a small area: To ensure the compatibility of the spray with the desired surface or mold, it is better to do a test on a small area first. This test can prevent unwanted adhesion or other problems.
  4. Using the right distance: spray the spray from the right distance (usually about 20-30 cm) to the surface or mold. Ensure uniform and symmetrical movements for complete surface coverage.
  5. Homogeneous composition: Be sure to spread the materials homogeneously on the surface or mold. Make sure there are no empty or redundant points.
  6. Drying time: After spraying, give the surface or mold enough time to dry. Drying time may vary based on environmental conditions.
  7. Repeat if needed: In some cases, you may need to repeat the spray operation to obtain a better protective layer.
  8. Use of mask and gloves: Because some sprays may contain allergenic substances, it can be useful to use gloves and masks to protect the skin and breathing.

Note that when using any type of spray, always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety tips and use in well-ventilated areas.
